Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Place two potato balls in each cavity of an eggnog mold along with chopped green onions and cheese. In a medium bowl or measuring cup, gently whisk the eggs with the cream, cayenne pepper, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt until incorporated, but avoid foaming. Pour the egg mixture over the filling in each cavity. Cover the mold tightly with foil and place on a wire rack.
  • Step 2
  • Add 1.5 cups of water to the multicooker, then carefully lower the pan by the handles. Following the manufacturer's instructions, close the lid and prepare the multicooker for use. Set the pressure cooker to low heat and cook for 7 minutes.
  • Step 3
  • Once the pressure cooker cycle is complete, release the pressure naturally for 10 minutes, then follow the manufacturer's instructions to release any remaining pressure. Open and remove the lid, being careful not to burn yourself with steam. Carefully remove the pan and let it rest for 5 minutes before removing the appetizer. Run a small spatula around the edge of the pan if the egg is sticking. Serve warm with hot sauce or ketchup.
