They pair beautifully with any vegetables, and the entire dish can be made in one pot, eliminating the need to wait for separate water to boil for the dumplings. Try pairing potato gnocchi with mushrooms. And Parmesan, butter, and olive oil create a rich, creamy sauce, all in less than 15 minutes.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.

1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 450 g chilled or frozen potato gnocchi
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil + extra for drizzling
  • 1.5 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese, plus extra for serving
  • 1 cup baked sliced ​​mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives or parsley

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Pour 1.5 cups of water into a large saucepan or deep saucepan and add a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil over high heat and immediately add the gnocchi. Cover and simmer until tender.
