The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 1.5 cups coarsely chopped dark chocolate
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 7 tablespoons unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 2 tbsp. brewed coffee
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 2 cups coarsely chopped biscotti cookies
  • 0.5 cup coarsely chopped pistachios
  • 0.5 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • Special equipmentkitchen string

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:

  1. You will need a heatproof bowl for the chocolate, a medium bowl for creaming the sugar and butter, and a spatula.

  3. Place the chocolate in a medium heatproof bowl and microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring, until completely melted and smooth, about 3 minutes.
