Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- In a large skillet, add the butter and bacon and cook over medium heat until the bacon is crisp and the fat has rendered. Add the onion and cook until soft, 5-8 minutes.
Add the kale and sauté until reduced. Combine the kale with the onion and bacon. Add the coconut milk and broth, and continue cooking until the kale is tender, another 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
