Nuts from the Union Square Cafe - a detailed recipe.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 2 1/4 cups (510 g) mixed unsalted nuts (including peanuts, cashews, Brazil nuts, walnuts, hazelnuts, pecans, and whole unshelled almonds)
  • 2 tablespoons coarsely chopped fresh rosemary leaves
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 2 tsp. brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons sea salt
  • 1 tbsp melted butter

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.

    In a large bowl, combine the nuts and spread them on a baking sheet. Toast in the oven until light golden brown, about 10 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, combine rosemary, cayenne pepper, sugar, salt and melted butter.

    Thoroughly mix the toasted nuts and butter with the spices and serve warm. Once you try it, you won't be able to stop eating it.
    Exit: 2 and 1/4 cups assorted nuts
