A hearty, warming kale soup with a Parmesan dressing. The soup is based on chicken broth and features chorizo ​​sausage for a savory kick. A delicious dish packed with nutrients thanks to the kale.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 2 tbsp. l. olive oil
  • 450 g fresh chorizo ​​sausages
  • 4 potatoes, diced
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 8 cups chicken broth
  • 450 g kale leaves, stems removed, torn into 2.5 cm pieces
  • 1/2 tbsp. grated parmesan

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Heat olive oil in a large stockpot over medium heat. Sauté the chorizo ​​in the oil for 5-7 minutes. Add the potatoes, onion, garlic, and chicken broth.
  2. Simmer for 20-25 minutes, until the potatoes are tender enough to pierce with a fork. Reduce heat to low, add the kale, and cover. Cook for 7-10 minutes, until the kale wilts.

  3. Remove the lid, add the Parmesan cheese, and cook for another 5 minutes. Season to your desired taste with salt and pepper.
