This sandwich combines a variety of flavors, yet it pairs the barbecue sauce spread with the turkey perfectly. The barbecue sauce adds a tangy, sweet flavor that balances the saltiness of the ham and cheese, resulting in a flawless result. These hearty sandwiches are easy to make, and in the right hands, they make a great snack with a beer in the evening. Just remember to take your time while sipping.

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Preheat the oven to 170 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit). Heat a large grill pan over medium heat, brushing it with vegetable oil.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, cream, sugar, salt, and cayenne pepper until well combined. Pour into a suitable sized baking sheet for ease of use.
- Spread a little barbecue sauce on each slice of bread. Place 1 slice of cheese, ham, and turkey on 4 slices. Repeat this order one more time. Top with the remaining slices of bread and press down with your hands. Dip the sandwiches in the sauce mixture and turn them over to coat them completely.
- Place the sandwiches on a hot surface and cook until golden brown on one side. Flip and continue cooking until golden brown. Transfer to a rack set over a baking sheet. Place in a preheated oven and bake until the cheese is melted, about 5 minutes. Transfer to a cutting board and cut into triangles. Sprinkle with seasoning mixture, if desired, and serve.
