Grilled (or pan-fried) red onions with a slightly sweet flavor make the perfect addition to burgers and sandwiches, a side dish for meat, or a simple yet delicious appetizer. Slice the onions into thick slices, drizzle with vegetable oil, and grill like a steak on both sides. For added flavor, sprinkle with steak seasoning or salt and black pepper.
