Celery sticks, cut into small pieces, make a wonderful base for delicious and healthy appetizers that are easy to prepare. They pair best with a cream cheese and olive filling—use different types of olives for a more vibrant flavor. A little green onion and lemon zest perfectly complement the creaminess of the filling. Whip everything together in a mixer, and then spoon the cheese mixture onto the celery stalks. This is a great appetizer for holidays and house parties. Despite their simplicity, celery appetizers are usually a hit with guests and disappear quickly.

Ingredients for the recipe:
- 220 g of cream cheese, room temperature
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 3 tablespoons chopped olives stuffed with pimento peppers
- 3 tbsp. l. chopped kalamata olives, pitted
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh chives
- 1 teaspoon finely grated lemon zest
- 8 stalks celery, cut into 5cm pieces.
- Sweet paprika, for topping

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and heavy cream with a mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy, 1-2 minutes. Add the olives, green onions, lemon zest, a pinch of salt, and a few grinds of black pepper.
