White bean pasta seasoned with garlic and red pepper is a great appetizer for parties and holidays. Prosciutto, which is blended with the beans in a food processor, adds a special flavor. Spread the finished pasta on toasted baguette slices, drizzle with extra-virgin olive oil, and you're ready to serve! To save time, use canned beans for the pasta.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 1 baguette
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2/3 cup diced prosciutto
  • 2 cans (425g each) canned cannellini beans

In a food processor, combine 2 cloves garlic, 2/3 cup diced prosciutto, a pinch of red pepper flakes, and 1 1/4 lb (425 g) can cannellini beans (rinsed). Puree. Add 3 tablespoons olive oil and process until smooth, adding a little water if the paste is too thick; season with salt to taste. Add 1 more can cannellini beans and process until you have a chunky bean paste. Season with salt to taste. Toast 1 sliced ​​baguette in a grill pan and rub with 1 clove of garlic. Spread each slice with the bean puree, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with chopped sage.
