Smashed baked potatoes are one of the internet's biggest trends right now, eclipsing the vibrant Hasselbacks and buttery baked potatoes. The recipe is incredibly simple, yet the dish is truly impressive and delicious. Boil the potatoes in their skins, brush them generously with butter, flatten each potato, and bake them in the oven until crispy. Serve these potatoes as a holiday side dish, and your guests will remember this treat for a long time.
