Oven-baked French fries with paprika and parmesan - a detailed recipe.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 2 large high-starch potatoes (approximately 700 g), peeled
  • 1/4 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp Creole seasoning (salt, paprika, garlic, onion, black pepper, Cayenne pepper, oregano, thyme)
  • 1 tbsp. sweet paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • Coarse sea salt

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Preheat oven to 220°C.

    Wipe the potatoes dry and cut into 12 mm thick strips.

    Place the potatoes in a deep bowl and add olive oil, seasoning and 1/4 teaspoon of salt, mix.

    Then place the potatoes on a baking sheet, spaced a little apart, in one layer.
  2. Bake potatoes in the oven, turning halfway through, until golden brown, about 30 minutes.

  3. Meanwhile, in a bowl, combine cheese, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder and 1/2 teaspoon salt.

    Sprinkle the potatoes with the resulting mixture and serve hot.
