Despite its name, this potato isn't deep-fried, but baked in the oven. The sweet potato is cut into strips like French fries, coated in flavorless vegetable oil, and salted. In the oven, it turns into a beloved crispy snack without the added calories and fat. Sweet potatoes are also sweeter than regular potatoes, and their flavor will contrast beautifully with any dipping sauce. Baked sweet potatoes can also be served as a side dish to any hot meal.
