Sweet potatoes are similar in texture to potatoes and, when baked, are just as soft on the inside and crisp on the outside. They're healthier than potatoes, and they also have a slightly sweet flavor that's perfectly enhanced by a pinch of cinnamon. No need to peel the potatoes for baking; just wash them thoroughly with a brush. Toss the wedges with spices in melted butter and bake until tender. Serve as a side dish with meat or as an appetizer with a dipping sauce.

The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 4 sweet potatoes, washed with a brush and cut into longitudinal slices
  • 0.5 cup + 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1.5 tsp ground cinnamon

  3. Place the sweet potato wedges in an even layer on a baking sheet. Bake, stirring occasionally, until tender, about 20-25 minutes. Remove from the oven, transfer to a serving platter, and serve.
