Caramelized baked tomatoes boast a rich flavor that will brighten any dish.   • 1.5 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 2 large cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons of sugar
  • 1.5 tsp coarse salt
  • 0.5 tsp freshly ground black pepper

1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

  • Preheat oven to 230°C.

  • Place the tomatoes on a baking sheet in a single layer, cut-side up. Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Sprinkle the tomatoes with garlic, sugar, salt, and black pepper. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the tomatoes begin to caramelize. You can also bake cherry tomatoes.
