  • 2 medium sweet potatoes, peeled
  • 2 tablespoons of high-quality olive oil
  • 1 tbsp. l. brown sugar
  • 0.5 tsp coarse salt, plus extra for sprinkling
  • 0.5 tsp ground black pepper
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven to 230°C.
  • Step 2
  • Cut the sweet potato in half lengthwise and cut each half into thirds. Place them on a baking sheet and toss with olive oil. Spread the sweet potato in a single layer. Mix together brown sugar, salt, and pepper and sprinkle over the sweet potato. Bake for 15 minutes, then toss with a spatula. Bake for another 5-10 minutes, until the sweet potato is golden brown.
