This aromatic tea combines the spice of ginger with the pleasant sweetness of honey. It's a wonderful warming tea on a chilly evening and helps relieve cold symptoms and coughs, while chamomile relaxes and soothes. You can use any other herbal tea that suits you as a base instead of chamomile.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 2.5 cm ginger root, peeled
  • 1 large strip of lemon zest
  • 6 tbsp of water
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 4 bags of chamomile or any other tea

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Cut the ginger into coins. In a small saucepan, combine the ginger, lemon zest, water, and honey and bring to a boil. Add the lemon juice to the hot water and pour into a teapot. Add the tea bags and let the tea steep. Remove the bags and serve.
