An interesting dipping sauce option that can be served with French fries, chicken wings, or any other appetizer you want to add an Asian twist to. Simmer soy sauce with honey, Sriracha hot sauce, and lime juice until thickened, then serve! The flavor is incredibly rich and complex.


Ingredients:

  • 0.5 cups honey
  • 0.5 cup Sriracha sauce
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • Juice of half a lime
  • 1 tbsp. l. sesame oil
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

    Step 1
  • In a saucepan, combine 0.5 cups each of honey and Sriracha sauce, 1/4 cup of soy sauce, the juice of half a lime, and 1 tablespoon of sesame oil.

  • Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring, and simmer until the sauce thickens, 5 minutes. Let cool.
