Make delicious, juicy Asian-inspired noodles. Cooked linguine pasta (spaghetti can be substituted) is mixed with finely shredded fresh cabbage, cilantro, and long, thin strips of bell pepper, then dressed with a peanut butter sauce with ginger, honey, vinegar, hot sauce, and soy sauce. This dressing imbues the dish with a whole range of flavors, with sweet, spicy, sour, and salty notes. The highlight of these noodles is the crunchy topping of crushed peanuts and toasted sesame seeds. Sprinkle at the very end and enjoy.

The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.

  • 1 tbsp freshly grated ginger

Salad

  • 0.5 cups loosely packed fresh chopped cilantro

We recommend

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Sprinkle sesame seeds into a baking dish and toast until light golden brown, 4-6 minutes, then set aside.
  2. Meanwhile, cook the pasta until al dente. Don't overcook it. Drain the pasta, reserving some of the cooking water for the dressing, and rinse and set aside.

  3. Peanut dressing:

Place the peanut butter in a large measuring cup and microwave until softened, 15 seconds. In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, vinegar, canola oil, ginger, honey, Sriracha, sesame oil, lime zest, and juice. Thin with the pasta water, 1 tablespoon at a time, if needed. The dressing should be thick but pourable.
  4. Salad:

Place the pasta in a large bowl, add the cilantro and vegetables, and toss with the dressing. Sprinkle with chopped peanuts and toasted sesame seeds and serve.
