These fragrant dumplings are filled with a whole bouquet of aromatic herbs. After boiling in water or steaming, they turn out plump and tender. Add them to soup, broth, or serve as a side dish with baked poultry.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 3 cups premium flour + extra for dusting
  • 3/4 cup chopped mixed greens and celery leaves
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 6 tablespoons chilled unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
  • 1.5 cups of chilled yogurt or kefir

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:

  1. In a bowl, combine flour, herb mixture, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. Blend the butter with a pastry blender until coarse sand forms. Stir in the sour milk.

  3. Place the dough on a floured sheet of parchment paper and form it into a 2cm thick rectangle.

  4. Using a large knife, cut the dough into 5cm squares. Cover with plastic wrap.
