Fried fish is a dish that cooks in minutes and is perfect for a weekday dinner, as you won't have to spend a lot of time at the stove. Frying a delicate flounder fillet in a frying pan should take no more than 6 minutes, resulting in a tender and firm fish. Dredge it in flour and fry it in a mixture of vegetable and butter until golden brown. Use the remaining fat in the pan with the delicious fried pieces to make a light sauce, adding butter, lemon juice, and capers along with the marinade from the jar. Its creamy, tart flavor perfectly complements and refreshes the flounder.
