Time: 10 min.

When heading out on a long journey or a picnic, there's no better snack than a dried fruit and nut mix: it's delicious, healthy, keeps well, makes a great snack on the go, and a small amount is enough to satisfy your hunger. To avoid disappointment with the composition and combination of ingredients, it's better to make your own than to buy a pig in a poke. This way, you can be sure your dried fruits and nuts are of the highest quality. Napa mix offers the perfect balance of ingredients: dried pears, nectarines, figs, dates, cherries, and nuts are added in equal parts. Store in a tightly sealed bag or container.
