Grilled sausages with bell peppers are a classic combination. This recipe makes it quick and easy to cook on a single baking sheet for a crowd. We use sweet Italian sausage, but you can grill any raw sausage you like. Imagine dividing the baking sheet into three sections. On one side, place sliced onions, in the center, colorful bell peppers cut into strips, and arrange the sausages in the remaining space. Serve the sausages and bell peppers as is, or make hearty, juicy sandwiches.

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Preheat oven to 220°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place the onions on the prepared baking sheet and toss with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, a little salt, and black pepper. Spread the onions in an even layer and roast for 5 minutes. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and set the onions aside.
- In a medium bowl, toss the orange and green bell peppers with the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil, a pinch of salt, and black pepper. Place the peppers in the center of the baking sheet. Arrange the sausages evenly in the empty space next to the peppers.
- Bake until the onions are translucent and tender, the peppers are soft and browned in spots, and the sausage is cooked through, about 25 minutes. To ensure even cooking, rotate the baking sheet halfway through.
- Cut the sausages into bite-sized pieces and distribute evenly among four buns. Top with bell peppers and onions.
