This mayonnaise-based dip gets its wonderful flavor from the addition of tomato, bell pepper, garlic, and tarragon. Simply blend all the ingredients together and you're ready to use. Serve the sauce as an appetizer with vegetables for dipping, or spread it on sandwiches and toast.

Ingredients:

  • 1 small ripe tomato, coarsely chopped
  • Half a small red bell pepper, seeded and coarsely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons tightly packed fresh tarragon leaves
  • 1 small clove of garlic
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

  • Combine tomatoes, pepper, mayonnaise, tarragon, garlic and 0.5 tsp salt in a blender and blend until smooth. Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 3 days..
