A recipe for a cabbage and bell pepper salad with celery and mustard seeds. Dressed with apple cider vinegar and Dijon mustard.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 1/2 head of cabbage, shredded
  • 6 bell peppers (red, orange and yellow), cut into thin strips
  • 2 stalks celery, finely chopped
  • Freshly ground pepper
  • 3 tablespoons of sugar
  • 2 teaspoons of salt
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1.5 teaspoons of celery seeds
  • 1.5 tsp. mustard seeds
  • 4 onions, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons whole grain Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Stir sugar and salt into apple cider vinegar until completely dissolved. Add cabbage, celery seeds, mustard seeds, 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper, bell pepper, celery, and green onions; stir.

    Place in the refrigerator for 1 hour to allow the flavors to mix.
  2. Add Dijon mustard and mayonnaise; shake.

    Place in the refrigerator to cool before serving.
