For this recipe, it's best to choose mini peppers of different colors to add interest to your dish. Simmer them with natural pork sausages (preferably spicy) in a mixture of wine vinegar, sugar, and garlic, and serve them right in the pan for a cozy family dinner.

The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 450 g sweet mini peppers
  • 3 tbsp. l. olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons white wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • 1 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • 8 sweet or hot Italian sausages (about 900 g)

We recommend

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:

  1. Place the peppers in a large skillet, add the olive oil, vinegar, sugar, granulated garlic, salt, and black pepper, and toss to coat. Place the skillet over medium-high heat and cook the peppers until slightly softened, 3 to 5 minutes.
  2. Place sausages between peppers and reduce heat to low, then cover and simmer until sausages are heated through to about 145°F (63°C), 5 to 10 minutes.

  3. Meanwhile, preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the sausage from the pan and grill until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C), about 10 minutes. Return the sausages to the pan, seasoning them with pepper, and serve.
