These cookies were inspired by Godiva's chocolate, caramel, and pecan cookies. These chocolate, nut, and caramel cookies are absolutely stunning, rich, and perfect for both holidays and everyday enjoyment with a cup of coffee or tea.
The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:
- 0.5 cup light brown sugar
- 0.5 cup granulated sugar
- 0.5 cup unsalted butter at room temperature
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1.5 cups sifted premium flour
- 0.5 tsp of soda
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 90g chopped dark chocolate (recommended: 2 (45g) Godiva dark chocolate bars)
- 0.5 tbsp. chopped pecans
- 18 chocolate or vanilla caramel candies (recommended: Godiva)
- Special equipment: 1 ice cream scoop (60 ml), 1-2 baking sheets, parchment paper

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Preheat oven to 190°C.
- In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar until fluffy. Once the mixture is light and fluffy, add the egg and beat until fully incorporated. Add the vanilla and beat until combined.
- In another bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture and knead into a soft dough. Stir in the chocolate chips and chopped pecans, distributing the ingredients evenly.
- Using an ice cream scoop, scoop out some of the cookie dough and drop 1 caramel onto the bottom of each cookie, covering it with dough. Lightly press each cookie onto the baking sheet in 3x4 rows. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown on top.
