Pimento Cheese Sandwiches - A Step-by-Step Recipe.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 2 cups finely grated mature yellow cheese Cheddar
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons finely chopped cherry pepper (Pimento)
  • 2 tbsp. l. finely grated onion
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 1/8 tsp ground cayenne pepper
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  • 8 slices of white bread

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. In a bowl, combine cheddar cheese, mayonnaise, pimento pepper, onion, mustard, and cayenne pepper. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Spread half white bread with the resulting mixture and cover with the remaining bread. Cut the sandwiches diagonally into two parts.
