Delight your guests with this unusual dessert for adults. While alcoholic jelly is gaining popularity, it's not always convenient to drink from shot glasses. But served in citrus peels, it looks organic and striking, and is easy to eat and take with you, for example, to a picnic. To make the jelly, mix citrus vodka with store-bought lime-flavored jelly mix diluted with water, then pour the cocktail into empty lime peels and let it set. To keep the peels stable and prevent them from tipping over, use a metal muffin tin as a stand.

The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 1 package (170 g) dry lime-flavored jelly mix, such as Jell-O
  • 6 limes
  • 0.5 cups of boiling water
  • 0.5 cups of sparkling water
  • 1 cup citrus vodka

Recipes with similar ingredients: gelatin, lime, carbonated water, lemon vodka

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:

  1. Cut the limes in half lengthwise. Using a sharp knife, carefully cut away the inside of each lime, then scoop out the pulp. Remove the membrane from the inside of the lime rind.
  2. Line a 12-cup muffin pan with foil. Place a lime half, cut side up, in each cavity.

  3. Place the jelly mixture in a medium bowl. Pour boiling water over it and stir thoroughly until the gelatin is completely dissolved. Stir in the club soda and citrus vodka, skimming off any foam as needed.
  4. Pour the gelatin mixture into each lime half. Refrigerate until the jelly is completely set, for 2-4 hours.
  5. Once the jelly has set, cut each lime in half to create wedges.

    Note

To make orange alcoholic jelly, use orange-flavored mixture and replace the limes with tangerines.
