Let the sugar steep with the zest for at least 24 hours to infuse the flavor, and then use this fragrant citrus sugar instead of regular sugar in anything that pairs well with lemon. This could include tea, both hot and iced, cocktails, cookies, and pies.

1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
