This fruity version of a martini is more suited to women. Although the drink is quite strong, it's filled with a light pear sweetness and refreshing citrus notes of lemon. Perfect for bachelorette parties and house parties!



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 1 lemon, cut into half-moon slices
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 120 ml pear vodka
  • 30 ml. dry vermouth
  • 30 ml. pear nectar
  • Pear slices and lemon zest twists, for garnish

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Combine lemon slices, sugar, and vanilla in a container; close the lid and shake vigorously until the lemon slices are coated with sugar. Set aside, shaking occasionally, until the sugar dissolves, about 30 minutes. Mash the lemon slices with a fork to release the juice.
  2. Let sit for 30 minutes, then refrigerate until ready to use.

  3. Fill 2 martini glasses with ice and set aside. Shake the lemons again, then strain the juice into a liquid measuring cup. Combine the vodka, vermouth, pear nectar, and 45 ml of lemon syrup in a cocktail shaker.
  4. Add ice and stir until completely chilled. Discard the ice from the martini glasses and strain the drink into chilled glasses. Garnish with pear slices and lemon twists.
