This dessert of tender apples nestled under a rich cinnamon-sugar crumble is best served warm with vanilla ice cream.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


Filling:

  • 5 peeled and cut into small pieces Granny Smith apples
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped pecans
  • 3 tbsp. premium wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp. maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Dough:

  • 3/4 cup premium wheat flour
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 6 tbsp chilled butter, cut into pieces
  • 1/4 cup coarsely chopped pecans

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. For the filling:

    Mix all ingredients together. Pour into individual 18-20 cm diameter molds.

    Preheat oven to 180°C.

    For the test:

    In a large bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Mix until the dough forms pea-sized pieces. Stir in the pecans and sprinkle over the filling.

    Bake the crisps for 35-40 minutes. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
