Cooking the dish according to the recipe:

  1. Preheat oven to 230°C.
  2. Place the ground beef in a large bowl. Place the onion and celery in a food processor. Halve the green pepper, remove the seeds, and discard. Chop the pepper into small pieces and add to the processor. Process the vegetables until very finely chopped, then add to the bowl with the ground beef. Add the egg beaten with milk, breadcrumbs, and grill seasoning.

Then mix in the barbecue sauce, salsa and Worcestershire sauce. Pour half of the mixture into the bowl with the meat mixture. Mix the mixture with your hands. Wash your hands.

  3. Using a brush, grease a 12-cup muffin tin (each about 1/2 cup). Use an ice cream scoop to scoop the meat mixture into each cup. Brush each cup with the remaining sauce.
  4. Bake for about 20 minutes. To check for doneness, cut one of the muffins open and check the center. Serve with green beans and mashed potatoes with cream cheese.

Use the remaining meatballs for cooking Muffin sandwiches with a cheese bun.

This dish is paired with Merlot red wine.

    Microwave Bacon and Green Beans

Place the bacon between paper towels and microwave on high for 60 seconds. Cool the bacon, then crumble or shred it by hand.

Place the green beans in a bowl and season with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Cover the bowl loosely with plastic wrap and microwave the green beans on high for 5 minutes. Stir and cook for another 5 minutes. Remove the wrap and sprinkle the beans with bacon.
  5. Mashed potatoes with cream cheese

Boil the potatoes for 15 minutes until tender. While the potatoes are cooking, you can prepare the meat muffins.

When the potatoes are done, drain them and return them to the pan to dry slightly. Using a pestle and mortar, mash the potatoes with the cream or milk. Add the cream cheese and continue mashing until the cheese melts into the potatoes. Add the green onions and season with salt and pepper to taste.
