French-style baked sweet onions - a detailed recipe.

3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.

1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

- 2 large sweet onions, cut into rings

- Salt and freshly ground pepper

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Preheat oven to 220°C. Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil.
- Place the onion rings in the prepared pan. In a separate bowl, combine the Worcestershire sauce, olive oil, 1/4 cup water, and salt and pepper to taste. Pour the mixture over the onions.
- Cook the onions in a preheated oven, covered, for 25 minutes, until softened. Mix the croutons with the cheese and a little parsley, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Place the breadcrumbs on the onions and continue baking uncovered for another 5 minutes.
