The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 1 kg salmon fillet
  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • Pinch cayenne pepper
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon of honey
  • 2 tbsp diced roasted sweet pepper
  • 1 tbsp. l. nut butter
  • 2 tbsp. l. olive oil
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper
  • 2 tbsp. sliced ​​green onions
  • 1 tsp grated lemon zest

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. To prepare the sauce: Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Toast the walnuts on a baking sheet for 7-10 minutes. Cool, then chop finely and place in a bowl. Add cayenne pepper, lemon juice, honey, bell pepper, nut oil, 1 tablespoon olive oil, and 2 tablespoons parsley. Add ½ teaspoon of salt, season with pepper, and toss to combine. Cover and refrigerate.
  2. To prepare salmon: Increase the oven temperature to 220°C (425°F). In another bowl, combine the remaining olive oil, 2 tablespoons of parsley, green onions, lemon zest, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and pepper. Rub the salmon with this mixture. Place in a baking dish, skin side down, and bake until done, about 15-20 minutes. Remove from the oven and place on a rack for 5 minutes, then transfer to a serving platter and top with the nut sauce.
