This recipe is the perfect solution when you're craving fresh, homemade bread but don't have time to knead dough. You take store-bought French bread dough and give it a twist (both literally and figuratively) by filling it with raisins soaked in olive oil and fragrant rosemary. The olive oil helps prevent the raisins from drying out during baking and also infuses the bread with incredible flavor.

The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 1 pack (300 g) of French bread dough
  • 3 tbsp. l. olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chopped rosemary
  • 2 tablespoons golden raisins

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté 1 teaspoon chopped rosemary, 2 tablespoons golden raisins, and a few grinds of black pepper in 3 tablespoons olive oil for 3 minutes; let cool.
  2. Grease a baking sheet with 1 tablespoon of olive oil; line it with a 300g package of French bread dough. Make a slit down the length of the dough and top with raisins and most of the butter; pinch to seal the filling inside. Roll the dough up and brush with the remaining butter.

  3. Bake at 175°C for 30 minutes.
