This mouth-watering cobbler with fresh strawberry filling and a crunchy sugar topping is the perfect summer treat. The cobbler is baked in a large pan and then cut into squares of your choice. Drizzle each serving with a light lemon glaze to balance the sweetness of the berries with a citrusy note.

Ingredients for the recipe:
Filling
- 3 cups chopped strawberries
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- Zest and juice of 1 lime
Cake and streusel
- 2.5 cups premium flour
- 275g salted butter, diced and chilled, plus extra for greasing the pan
- 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 0.5 cups heavy cream
- 2 tbsp. l. sugar turbinado
Glaze
- 1.5 cups powdered sugar
- 2-3 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Filling:
Preheat oven to 190°C. Place strawberries, granulated sugar, cornstarch, lime zest, and juice in a bowl. Stir and set aside. - Dough:
In a food processor, combine the flour, butter, brown sugar, and baking powder. Pulse until moist crumbs form; continue blending while adding the cream. - Grease a 22x32 cm (9x13 in) pan. Spread two-thirds of the flour mixture into the prepared pan and press into an even layer. Top with the strawberry filling, spreading it evenly. Sprinkle with the remaining crumbs, then sprinkle with turbinado sugar.
- Bake until the streusel is golden and the strawberry layer is set, 28-30 minutes. Let cool.
- Glaze:
Mix powdered sugar with lime juice until smooth. Cut the cobbler into small squares and drizzle with glaze. Place on a platter and serve.
