This is one of the simplest yet most elegant strawberry desserts. Whipped cream is mixed with berries macerated in strawberry liqueur, then the dessert is spooned into bowls and topped with crumbled, crisp cookies for contrast. Garnish with a sprig of mint and enjoy!



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 4 cups strawberries (set aside 6 berries for garnish)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 tbsp. l. strawberry liqueur
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 6 savoiardi biscuits (lady fingers)
  • 6 fresh mint sprigs, for garnish

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Place strawberries in a bowl, sprinkle with granulated sugar, pour over strawberry liqueur and let sit for 10 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, combine the cream and powdered sugar in a mixer bowl and beat until soft peaks form. Mash the strawberries with a fork and fold them into the cream.

  3. Divide the cream among the bowls. Crumble the cookies on top. Garnish each serving with a sprig of mint and a strawberry.
