When grilling outdoors, you always want delicious food with minimal effort and preparation time. For example, grilling a whole head of cauliflower is much easier than cutting up the florets. To ensure even cooking, set the cauliflower head on a beer can. Brush the grilled head with butter and seasonings, and you'll have a delicious cauliflower with the aroma of garlic, smoke, and hops. It's a great side dish for meat or a dipping sauce.

Recipe:

Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

Drain a quarter of the beer from the can. Trim the bottom of the cauliflower head so it fits on the can but still holds the florets together. Brush the entire surface of the cauliflower with melted butter and season with salt. Line the grill grate with a double sheet of foil. Place the can of beer on the foil and set the cauliflower on top.

Cover the grill and cook until the cauliflower is crispy and tender, about 1 hour. Remove the cauliflower from the can and brush with a mixture of melted butter, hot sauce, and grated garlic. Return the cauliflower to the can and grill for another 10-15 minutes. Brush again with herb butter and season with salt.

Serve with blue cheese dip.
