How to Cook - Fried Cauliflower
Kitchen:Asian,
Menu:Dinner,
Time: 20 min.
Complexity: easily

For a quick and delicious way to cook cauliflower, fry it in an Asian-inspired sauce. First, add the chopped cauliflower to the hot pan and stir quickly, then add all the sauce ingredients, one at a time, and the green onions. You can make your cauliflower spicy by adding more Sriracha sauce. Stir-frying cauliflower, which is done in a hot pan with rapid stirring, will leave it moist and crispy.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Cut the cauliflower into large florets, then tear them into very small pieces with your hands.

Heat a large, heavy-bottomed skillet over medium-high heat. Add the vegetable oil, then add the cauliflower and garlic. Cook the cauliflower, stirring frequently, until it becomes very crispy in spots. Cook for 3 minutes, then reduce the heat.
  • Step 2
  • Add the soy sauce, lime juice, and most of the green onions, reserving the rest for serving. Stir and cook for another minute, then add the hot sauce and stir to distribute evenly.

Add a little more sauce if you prefer a deeper color and flavor.
  • Step 3
  • Serve the cauliflower hot in a bowl. Top with the remaining green onions and serve with lime wedges. You can use the cauliflower as a filling in burrito.
