Michael Symon binds the bread stuffing not only with the traditional chicken broth of similar recipes, but also with a thick mixture of eggs and heavy cream. The resulting side dish is like a savory bread pudding, tender and delicious, with sweet corn kernels and pieces of smoked ham, which sets this cornbread stuffing apart from other holiday side dishes. The stuffing is baked separately from the bird and is perfect with not only turkey but also chicken.
