Beer

Beer consists of four main ingredients: barley, water, hops, and yeast. There are two types of beer: light and dark. They differ in the type of yeast used in their production. Light beer is made with top-fermenting yeast, while dark beer is made with bottom-fermenting yeast.
Did you know that the thickness of your glass affects the taste of beer? That's because when you hold a glass in your hand, it heats up, transferring the heat to the beer and altering its flavor. That's why it's recommended to drink beer from thick-walled glasses or mugs. However, if you're drinking a beer that tastes better at room temperature, thinner glasses are ideal.
Light beer requires a fermentation temperature of 15-21°C, while dark beer requires a temperature of 10-14°C. The two types differ in taste: light beer may have some fruity flavor, while dark beer lacks it. Dark beer has a more pronounced beer flavor. Beer contains, on average, 3-5% alcohol, although some varieties can reach 40% ABV. The Scottish beer Snake Venom, whose name translates as "snake venom," has an ABV of 67.5%!
