Spiced beer with anise and cinnamon

How to Make - Spiced Beer with Anise and Cinnamon
Time: 1 hour 10 min.
Complexity: easily
Servings: 4

To give beer a pleasant sweet-spicy flavor and aroma, simply add anise and cinnamon syrup. Brew it and keep it in the refrigerator. Just before serving, mix it with the beer. The familiar foamy drink takes on new flavors and becomes an unusual cocktail for those who aren't afraid to experiment. And the spiced syrup is so wonderful that you'll want to use it in other drinks and desserts.

  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 cup of water
  • 4 star anise (star anise)

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • In a small saucepan, combine the sugar, water, star anise, and cinnamon sticks and heat over medium heat. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer, stirring, until the sugar dissolves, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let the syrup cool, about 1 hour. Strain the syrup into a large pitcher and refrigerate until ready to serve. Slowly pour the beer into the pitcher. Stir and serve.
