Ingredients:

  • 6 bottles of cold Mexican lager beer (recommended: Cerveza Clara or Corona)
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges
  • Salt
  • Ice
  • 3/4 cup fresh lime juice*
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Chill 6 beer mugs until very cold. Sprinkle salt into a shallow bowl. Wet the rims of the mugs with lime and dip them in the salt.
  • Step 2
  • Add ice and 2 tablespoons of lime juice to each mug. Fill with beer and drink before the ice melts.

    Culinary advice: It is important to use fresh lime juice, it has more flavor!
