Michelada Supreme cocktail - detailed recipe.


Ingredients:

  • 4 bottles of dark Mexican beer, such as Negra Modelo
  • 350 ml tomato juice
  • Juice of 6 limes
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 6 dashes of fish sauce
  • 6 dashes hot sauce, such as Cholula
  • 1/4 cup coarse salt
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
  • Ice
  • Lime wedges for garnish
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • In a blender, combine tomato juice, lime juice, Worcestershire sauce, fish sauce, and hot sauce. Mix in salt, chili seasoning and cilantro, and dip the dampened rims of 4 glasses in the mixture. Fill the glasses with ice.
  • Step 2
  • Fill each glass with a quarter of the tomato mixture, then top with beer. Stir lightly and serve with lime wedges and the pork dish.

    Serve the cocktail with the pork.
