To make a delicious homemade cream soda drink using natural ingredients, you'll first need vanilla sugar syrup, which you'll dilute with seltzer water. Make a large batch of syrup and keep it in the refrigerator so you can treat your loved ones to a refreshing lemonade at any time.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 0.5 tsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Seltzer water for serving

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Syrup:

    In a small saucepan, combine sugar with 3/4 cup water and bring to a boil; stir until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla and lemon juice. Let cool and refrigerate until completely chilled.
  2. Drink:

    Serve the syrup with seltzer water over ice (3–4 tablespoons per 240 ml of water). Close the syrup tightly and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
