A non-alcoholic cocktail float recipe with cream soda and berries. The cocktail consists of ice cream and mixed berries, topped with cream soda and vanilla whipped cream.

Cocktail float A slushie is an ice cream-based drink with carbonated water and various other ingredients. The specialty of this cocktail is that whipped cream or ice cream is placed on top, creating a floating effect.


Ingredients:

  • 1 cup chilled heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla paste (or seeds from 1 vanilla pod)
  • 1 cup mixed berries
  • 1100 ml vanilla ice cream
  • 1 liter of red cream soda
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

    Step 1
  • Make vanilla whipped cream: In a large bowl, beat the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.

    Place the berries and 2 scoops of ice cream in 4 glasses, one at a time. Pour in the cream soda, then top with a large dollop of whipped vanilla cream.
