These Chinese dumplings can be served as a main course or as an appetizer, spooned individually onto Asian soup spoons. Filled with pork, mushrooms, and green onions, they're incredibly juicy and flavorful. Don't forget the special sauce for an even more vibrant flavor.

Ingredients for the recipe:
Chinese dumplings
- 220 g of minced pork
- 0.5 cup finely chopped straw mushrooms
- 3 green onions (green part only), finely chopped
- 1 tbsp. chopped ginger
- 1 tbsp. lightly salted soy sauce
- 1 tsp. sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons ground Sichuan spice mix (Szechuan pepper, cumin, garlic powder, and dried hot pepper flakes)
- 21 sheets of dumpling dough
Sweet and hot sauce
- 1/4 tbsp. rice vinegar
- 0.5 tsp Asian chili paste
- 1 teaspoon chopped ginger
- 1.5 teaspoons of honey

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Dumplings:
In a large bowl, combine ground pork, sliced mushrooms, green onions, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, and spice mix. Mix thoroughly. - Place 1 tablespoon of filling on each sheet of dough and gather the edges to the middle, leaving the center open. Lightly tap the dumpling on the countertop to flatten the bottom. To prevent the dumplings from drying out, cover them with a damp paper towel until ready to cook.
- Cut a piece of parchment paper to fit your steamer. Lightly spray it with cooking spray and place it in the steamer.
- Place the dumplings in a steamer and place it over a wok or medium saucepan of boiling water. Steam for 6-8 minutes or until the filling is cooked through.
- Sweet and hot sauce:
In a medium bowl, combine all sauce ingredients. Serve the dumplings on a Chinese soup spoon with a small dollop of sauce.
