The secret to this quick recipe is that the spaghetti squash is microwaved until tender. After scooping out the flesh, it's tossed with a mixture of ginger and garam masala to add a unique flavor.

- 2 tsp finely grated ginger
- 1 tsp. garam masala seasoning mixtures
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 4 teaspoons of honey
- 1/4 teaspoon coarse salt, plus a little more for seasoning
- 0.5 cup coarsely chopped cilantro

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Cut the pumpkin in half and remove the seeds. Place it cut-side down in a microwave-safe bowl (the cut parts of the pumpkin can touch each other) and add 1 cup of water.
Cover with plastic wrap and microwave until tender and a knife can easily pierce the skin, 15 to 18 minutes. Let it rest for a moment.
