If you're hosting a barbecue party, try chicken parmesan instead of steaks or kebabs. Crispy chicken cutlets topped with melting cheese are a great way to treat your loved ones to something new. These cutlets cook in just 30 minutes and are packed with a delicious smoky flavor.

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:

  1. Preheat an outdoor grill to medium-high heat. Make sure the grates are clean to prevent the chicken from sticking.
  2. Place the chicken breasts between two sheets of plastic wrap. Pound with a small frying pan or a meat mallet until the chicken is 0.5 cm thick. Remove the wrap and transfer to a baking sheet. Pound the remaining breasts in the same manner. Lightly brush both sides of each chicken cutlet with oil.

  3. Combine salt, pepper, and garlic powder in a small bowl and sprinkle evenly over both sides of the chicken cutlets. Place the cutlets on the grill grate and cover. Grill for 3–4 minutes.
  4. Flip and brush each cutlet with a few tablespoons of marinara sauce, then top with a couple of slices of mozzarella and 1 tablespoon of Parmesan cheese. Cover and cook until the cheese is melted and the chicken is cooked through, another 3–4 minutes. Serve hot.
